A Year From Now

This is one of my favorite views from work.

Today I was feeling kind of blah about a couple things and decided to go back and see what I was doing a year ago. As I was reading my posts from last July, I realized how much I have changed in one year.

When I first came out to my parents, one of the things my Mom said was, "You have changed from the Caroline we know." I used to argue with her and tell her that I hadn't changed and I was the same Caroline they have always known. But the truth is, I had changed.

I seem to be on a roll in making positive changes in my life and it really gets me thinking about how different my life will be a year from now. Who knows...I might just have a wife and kids.

I was feeling blah also maybe it was just something in the air. I was really just in tears all day yesterday.I also have two children you could borrow if you wanted to test out the teenage years. LOL. Keep making the changes

Yes, you have changed. The changes are for the better. Keep in mind that change is difficult, especially when *others* change in a way we don't like or understand. Your mom wanted you to be her good, compliant little girl for the rest of your life, or at least the rest of her life. When you stepped out of that mold, it wasn't comfortable for her any more.

And for the next year, you change as much as you want! I love who you are!!

Honey you NEVER know what a year or even a few months will bring. If you had told me in Jan 1994 that I would be marrying Stacy in October of that year I would have laughed in your face and not in a nice way either LOL

Yay for GOOD changes!!!!!

Your right...so much can change in a year. And you have experienced some major changes and I hope you are able to experience the changes you dream of...wife and kids. I wish you the best in making that your reality. You will find that perfect person.
