Thanks for the ride Lulu

Lulu looked so sad at the lot today. They wouldn't let me on the lot, instead they used a fork lift to bring her up to the front where I could get my belongings out. I hated seeing her on the fork lift and then being dropped right in front of me. I know it's just a car, but I loved Lulu and I will miss driving my Honda. When they first brought the car up I was shocked at how bad the back of the car looked. I am very lucky I was able to walk away from the wreck without more serious injuries. Lulu did a good job in protecting me.

I was able to get all my belongings out; even the stuff from the trunk. I was kind of worried about the stuff in the trunk since it was so smashed up. I was even able to pull this off the car:

One of the things that I really wanted to get was Brady's collar. The day I put him to sleep I put his collar around my gear shift and I never moved it. I was happy that it was still there.

Today has been a long day. Two doctors appointments, an appointment with an attorney (more on that later) and then saying goodbye to Lulu. I think I need a nap.

I glad you got your H. Poor Lulu. She served you well.

OK, I'm here, I'm here!. (For everyone else, I haven't checked Caroline's blog because I "follow" her, as I do many others, which means that I am notified when she puts up a new post. It saves me the time of going from blog to blog. Well, there had been no notifications of a new post. I know her hands are full with all this stuff, so I wasn't surprised. Then tonight she asked me if something was wrong that I haven't been here! Yeah, something wrong .... with me, 'cause I also forgot that when she went private, I would no longer get those notices! duh!)

Sorry about Lulu. I know she was almost human to you. But I'm glad you got all the stuff out of her and got the H, too. I'm especially glad you found Brady's collar. :')

Boy, just think of all the "new" in your life! New car, new job, new house, new town! Wooeee!

What a mess. I am sorry you have had to deal with this. There's a very eerie feeling when you go to salvage belongings from a wrecked car. I had to do that once and it wasn't fun.

Hope your car search goes well!
