*The telemarketers must have all gotten a memo saying that we are changing our phone number within the next 24 hours. Just tonight since I have been home we have had 3 of them call. 2 were from the same place explaining that I had been selected for a chance to win $25,000. Each time I said in a very loud excited voice (with Laura laughing in the background) "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" The first lady just kept talking, but the second one got into it. She said, "Of course I am serious". I was laughing too hard by this point to keep messing with her and hung up the phone.
*On News Eve I was slightly (ok, it was more then slightly) intoxicated and made a very funny phone call. A couple years ago there was a TV show on called "Starting Over" and the main Life coach was Rhonda Britten. Not only did I love how Rhonda Britten worked with the women in the house, but I also had a small (ok big) crush on her. She has an online blog and she was talking about selling her car on EBAY. I found the car she was selling on EBAY and would you believe there was a phone number. I blocked out my phone number and called. I think her boyfriend answered. I quickly said I had the wrong number and hung up. Laura pointed out that since it was New Years Eve Rhonda was probably sitting right next to him. The thought made me blush.
*Laura loves to try to scare me. She is always hiding behind doors and other things to scare me. She never does scare me though. She did get me last night though. I was standing on our front steps just looking at the strays and she walked up to the front door (from the inside while I am outside) and hit the door really hard. It scared the crap out of me. I told her to just wait. When we went to bed I pretended like I was asleep while she was watching one of her Murder Mysteries on CourtTV. Out of the blue I yelled "BOO". At first I thought she was going to punch me since I scared her so badly, but then she was just pissed. It was still really funny.
*All of our Christmas Decorations have come down except the lights on the back deck. I refuse to take then down. Maybe February 1.
*I have no client on my schedule for this week or next week. This may change, but it looks like I won't have any more client's at the place where I work.
*I have almost completely packed my office at work. My walls seem so bare now.
*As I was typing this we got yet another call from another Telemarketer. This time I had the chance to get high Internet for the low cost of $29/month. This lady didn't want to play my games and was no fun. Damn.
*Since we switched our phone to TimeWarner we have been getting all these unwanted calls. Looks like we are finally going to have to call the "no call" list.

Likely you have heard this one before....but I heard it just today and in light of your recent family dealings....it made me think of you......
"The best revenge is living well"
...seems to me you are well on your way!!
Ick. I dispise those calls. They come at the worst time and even though I'm on the "Do not call list" I keep getting them.
Maybe I should try to play with them too....mostly I am just plain irritated by them because they always seem to wake up a sleeping or near sleeping child.
OK, now I'm offended! You're changing your phone # and not telling me??? WHAAAAAA?? ;-) I think that is a great thing . . . another severed tie from the past. Yep, good deal.
I am laughing at you & Laura scaring each other. We do it all the time too!
