I just picked Sophie up from the vet and she seems to be feeling better. The vet was not concerned until she found white blood cells in Sophie's stomach. She explained to me that a dogs stomach has it's own defense system, so when there are white blood cells there it could mean something serious is going on; like cancer. She is going to call me tomorrow with the blood results. We were sent home with antibiotics (in case it's just an infection) and medication to help with her stomach and diarrhea. I really pray it's only an infection. So please say a couple extra prayers for Sophie tonight.
I would also like to ask you to go over and give Lynilu some extra love today. She had to put her dog China Doll to sleep today. China was one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. With China you never doubted how much she loved you. I love you China and I know Brady was there to meet you across the Rainbow Bridge.
I hadn't planned on posting until next week, but Susan and I talked last night and she asked if I would mind if we met on Saturday instead of tonight. I was so relieved because I was totally stressing over Sophie and all the things I needed to get done after work. Susan should be with me when we get the results; which is a nice comfort for me. But until I hear that it's bad news I am just going to act like it's an infection.

I do hope it is an infection -- think positive! I hope the meds get her feeling better soon.
Have a good long weekend. I hope you get to enjoy it without too much worry!

Thinking positive thoughts up here in Washington my dear. Hugs.
Be well, sweet Sophie. :)
Ugh, I feel terrible, I've been so wrapped up in my own doggie woes, I didn't realize Lyni has lost China. I will race over there right away, thank you for posting about it!
I have been praying for Sophie and am glad to know she's okay.
I was very blessed to get to meet dear little China...
