I think Sophie is a little confused when I ask if she wants to go for a car ride. Silly dog goes running upstairs. I guess I won't worry unless she goes running down to the garage when I ask her to go upstairs. Watching this video makes me love that crazy dog even more.
P.S. I have been told that I have a southern accent, which I really don't think I do. What do you guys think???

Well, at least there is a limit to her extent of trauma since she still wants to come see us! Poor Sophie! That is a long car ride!
I don't hear a southern accent at all. but then my ex was from Georgia. Sometimes she'd talk like she was speaking a different language. Sophie is saying, "lets stay home dammit!!!"
OH my gosh!!! She goes straight up when you say that! Dogs kill me, they're so sad and sweet and cute.
I don't think you have a Southern accent, it's what I'd call a mid-western one though. I have a *ahem* slight Minnesota one. Ya you betcha.
lynilu--i think what upset her the most about the car ride was the pill she got before we left...she was so sleepy...but oh so cute
lostinco--you know my sophie too well..she would rather stay home then drive anywhere...
sandra--i think she was just so upset when we got in the car to go see lynilu and 2 days later we finally arrived...but i think she would get in the car again for that long trip if we were going to see lynilu and her babies...
I just noticed your fish tank, I've never moved with a fish tank. Umm, how are you going to do that?????
No honey I am southern and ummm not to be mean but southern you are not.....but you do have a cute little accent! You want southern you should hear me - just ask Katie! LOL
sandra--i just have one fish left (he refuses to die), so I will take the fish and buy a small fish bowl. i won't be taking the 28 gallon tank with me...i really don't have the room and it would be a huge hassle to move
cheeky--i think what happens is...people from the south say i don't have an accent, but then people from the north think i do. i talked to someone and said something about getting a pop and she said, "um, that would be a soda".
She's right! After moving to MN the first time my kids asked for pop I looked at them and said - "I don't serve pop in my house - its coke or water" (Coke being all soft drinks - in the south you ask for coke and they ask what kind - sprite, Mt. Dew, whatever - its all coke!)
cheeky--yes, sometimes i will refer to all pop as coke.....i need to do a post on this subject to see what others call pop/soda/coke, etc...
No i've talked to you on the phone and you definitely don't have a southern accent!!!!
