I laugh everytime, but I secretly want one. I do a lot of knitting and cross stitching. We don't turn the heat on a lot to save $$ and a lap blanket and a sweater still leaves me cold because I can't really wrap myself around in it, so my upper body is cold ;/ I would never admit it if I had one lol
A backward robe wouldn't work because your back would be cold! I would absolutely get one of these! They are too expensive though.
I do have a giant fleecy robe that keeps me really warm. With giant fleecy pajama pants + sweater + socks from the hunting section of Walmart, I'm all set.
audra--maybe you need to put the snuggie on your x-mas list.
casey--i agree w/ fern....your back would get cold.
fern--i don't know if its because i love the cold weather, but i don't ever use blankets. right now it's 16 degrees outside, the heat is not on and i am sitting here in a t-shirt. yea, i am strange
redfrog--i agree...it looks very uncomfortable.
beans--i thought the same thing about the lady that had issues with the blanket while answering the phone. did you see the look on her face. she needs some serious therapy. :)

My granddaughter won't hush about wanting one of these.. She's 3 ... and she doesn't watch very much tv.. We've looked but can only find the adult one. The ad firm evidenly knew what they were doing.
Oh, it's a good idea in some ways. I remember the "bundle bags" from the (??) late 70s or early 80s. My kids loved those things! The Snuggie is similar to that in concept, but the BB was snapped or zipped in front so you could get your hands out or open it to get out of it. And they walked around inside theirs. But this snuggie is different .... do you pull it over the head like a sweater? If so, what happens when you have a hot flash? I want something I can quickly get out of!! You "girls" will understand that in due time!! No, I think a long, warm robe would suit me better.
Another thing .... what kind of mother is that woman to wrap herself in a snuggie, but she leave her baby outside it? tsk tsk.

And the cult leader is who...doesn't it remind you of someone getting ready to be lead to some nut jobs last revelation of a miracle.
Funny...and I am going to say no. I would rather wear warm clothes and wear a blanket. But it makes for good commercials.
