Winter has officially arrived in Kansas City. We got about 2 inches of snow today and the traffic was horrible coming home. What normally takes about 20 minutes took 1 1/2 hours tonight. I worried all day about the road right in front of my complex. It's a 2 lane road with no shoulder and horrible ditches and I knew it was going to be bad when we got snow. It was bad and there were 3 cars in the ditch, but I managed to make it home just fine. It's going to be very cold tonight with the low being 13. It's nights like tonight that really makes me miss my garage.
Sophie was so excited about the snow and I swear she was smiling when we went for our walk. I need to find a pair of boots so I can take Sophie for really long walks in the snow. I haven't owned a pair of boots in so long so I would have no idea where to start looking for a pair.
S asked me the following question this weekend and I would love to know what your answers would be:
If you were stranded on a island and your food, clothing and shelter were taken care of, what 5 items would you take with you?
