Round 2

"Quitting smoking is easy. I've done it a thousand times." - Mark Twain

19 hours and counting since I smoked last....

Whenever I want to smoke in the future I am going to think back to today. I will never put myself through this again. My body has been screaming for nicotine all day long.

Even though today has been hard, I am kind of looking at this as a challenge.
During round one I made it 78 days.

There will not be a round 3.

  2. The average person tries to quit smoking 8 times before they are done. EIGHT times! You are doing a great job Caroline. I remember all the times my dad tried to quit. It was hard stuff.

  6. I quit for good more than ten years ago. It was hard. I chewed nicorette a little bit, and whenever I had the urge to smoke, I drank water and did sit ups. I am the only person I know who lost ten pounds while quitting smoking. I gained it all back and then some a few years later, but I haven't had a cigarette since January 1998.
