lynilu--really, you think she has a loose screw?? i think it was funny as hell what she said...
traci--i am with you..i love what she said and the fact that it was LIVE tv...that was even better...you should have seen the lame excuse that Meredith had when they came back from commercial.
Honestly, I didn't think it was a big deal because she wasn't calling someone that name -- she was explaining why she initially didn't want to do the monologue. Also, I think TV show guests should be allowed to say whatever they want to say, and if the network has a problem with it, they should make sure their censors are standing by with a finger on the bleep button.

You really don't hear it? The "C" word! I think she has a loose screw, uh, excuse me, bolt in her head!!
Oh come on, she's 70 years old for heaven's sake and she was just telling a story about what a performance group asked her to talk about! I love her!

Uh, big deal?
Really. I really didn't think it was that big of a deal. I don't know. Seems like a big to do over not much. Just my opinion.
I think the c-u next tuesday word is an ugly word and totally inappropriate for live TV (or anywhere for that matter)
