Determined Little Fish

Over the last year I have lost all of my fish but the one pictured above. It really was Laura who wanted the aquarium, so when she left it was kind of neglected. Now that I am moving I knew that I didn't want to take the aquarium with me and figured there would be no more fish when I moved. Well, this guy has decided that he wants to move with me. No matter what this guys goes through he just keeps hanging on; kind of like me. When I placed him in the new fish bowl I noticed he only has one eye. I can't believe I have a handicap fish. But since he is so determined to live he is now part of the family. I need to come up with a name, so any suggestions would be great.

And because I just love her so....here is a picture of Bonk. I still can't believe I have a cat that I've had since I was 14. Speaking of those crazy teenage years: I have a myspace page, but really don't spend a lot of time on it. On Friday when I checked my inbox there was a message from one of my best friends when I was in middle school. She had sent it in July, but since I am hardly ever on myspace, I just got the message. It's been fun reconnecting with her and getting to know her again.

So, I went on a date last night. I had been talking with this woman for the last couple of days and she seemed really cool. There was one very strange thing: She has the same name as MG. When she first sent me an email I thought it was MG and I was like WTF? It was a relief to know it was not MG.

We decided to meet last night. But I quickly realized that her intentions were not the same as mine. First of all, she is married. And second, her husband and her are swingers. Thankfully the look on my face will make her realize I am not into whatever games she was trying to play.

I know one day I will look back on all of this and laugh, but I am starting to think I am a magnet for freaks.
