I was shocked to read the news today I, yes ME, was named person of the year. Well, actually it wasn't just me. It's all us bloggers that have changed the way the Internet works. Click HERE to see how you have changed the world.
Speaking of my blog, I am very close to hitting my 500th post. I never imagined that I would still be doing this blog thing a year and a half later, but here I am. Keep your eyes open for a special post to celebrate and a chance to win an actual piece of Kansas City history.

I might have to pick up a copy of this! I really have been amazed at the changes online in the past few years. About half the people I know have a blog now...
Okay, stupid question, but how do you know how many posts? Are you counting them by hand (per se), or is there a counter someplace in blogger I don't know about.
So, it really is all about me. I mean, us.
Pretty cool that the fairly anonymous "many" outpaced the other individual candidates for person of the year! Very cool.

sassy--you know there is never a stupid question.

Sassy, blogger beta gives a post count. I have 619 as of today.
You know, I'm sure every generation has said this, but what an amazing time we live in!

I saw that, too. Isn't it amazing? What did we do before blogs? I haven't been doing this for a year yet, but I can't remember not blogging?
