Our Ladybug Sophie
We had to bribe her to get into her costume. Food always works with Sophie. Notice we have trained her to eat off a fork. She is so smart and has such good table manners.
Not only is she not happy with the costume, but she is tired of me taking her picture....constantly.
God, I can't wait until we have children. I already have their costumes picked our for the first three Halloweens.

OMG Caroline you are so much like me that it's SCARY! Sophie looks adorable!
Sophie looks so cute! How long did the costume stay on? LOL
Umm...I'm hoping that your kids won't have to wear the dog's hand-me-down costumes! Although it might be kind of funny to compare the pictures of the two later...
Not only have you made Sophie behave, now you mortify her with these pictures. Sophie, honey, I'm gonna come get you and bring you to visit for a while! Poor baby! But you do look huggable, in spite of it all! ;-)) And pregnant in texas has a point . . . I can imagine you doing just that!! LOL
Love the lady bug.
She looks soooo cute. :)
patticake--i have noticed that you and I are a lot alike
onecrazylady--she lasted a little over an hour in the costume
pregnantintx--i had never thought of saving the costume for our children, but that is a great idea. thanks :)
lynilu--sophie really thought we were trying to kill her last night. not only behaving, but looking so cute. she still hasn't spoken to me

isabel--we thought she was cute, but she wanted nothing to do with being cute.
LOL!!! Too funny! :)
Ah, you might get away with choosing the first two years of costumes, but I bet kids get a mind of their own by the third. I'll let you know how it goes next year. :)
Have you seen those Yoda costumes for dogs? I love those.
casey--what we thought was funny and cute, Sophie thought was pure torture.
amy--you are probably right. I would hate to be a controling parent like mine were.
She's sooo cute! Now what's this about you guys having kids? Have you blogged about that???
