Yesterday one of my co-workers brought in this cutie for a visit. He was sooo cute that I wanted to just slip him in my bag and leave with him. I did tell my co-worker that I would blame her if I ended up getting a puppy this weekend.This is where I spent most of my day:
I really can't think of a better way to spend the day. MJ came by and spent a couple hours with me at the pool. I usually go to the pool by myself, so it was nice having someone to talk to while I perfected my tan.The real excitement happened when I went to Walmart. As I was looking through the pet section I heard a commotion a few aisles down. The police were trying to arrest this man and all he could say was "I just want to call my Mama". I found it kind of funny to hear a grown man saying "I just want my Mama".
It was 4 years ago today that I came out to my parents. I don't think it was a coincidence that it was Independence Day.
Happy July 4th. You are free...that is amazing and I know it has been hard to deal with their judgements.
