Friends

Today I was well enough to go back to work. I was so tired after just getting ready to go to work, but once I got to work and started moving I was fine. And I actually feel better after work then I did before I went to work. I am still coughing a lot and my co-worker in the office next to me came and asked if I was OK during one of my coughing fits. But the end is in sight.

I really like where I am in life right now. Yes there are some ups and downs, but overall my life is very good and I am really happy. I have a great little apartment, a great job, wonderful co-workers and a group of friends that remind me each day that I am loved.

Speaking of friends:

MJ came over tonight to assist me in hanging up my window. I explained to her that she needed to bring whatever tools she would need because the only tool I had was a hammer. She laughed and said, "I already planned on doing that." It's good that my friends know me well enough that I don't have to explain much. Oh, and I also got to ride in her very cool new car.

And just as a reminder: my birthday month starts tomorrow. Yes, I do celebrate my birthday the entire month.

Seems that your friends do a lot for you, what do you ever do for them?

  5. That window looks great!! I love it there!

You and your "birthday month"!! You are too funny!

And to Sharon ... well, if you knew Caroline, you wouldn't need to ask that. And because she doesn't boast, you apparently seem to think the worst. Sad. I'm thinking .... "and so it begins." I wondered how long it would take.

  6. Happy Birthday month!!
Sharon, I can vouch for C - I barely know her and she checks in on me to make sure that I am ok and has sent me a beautiful card in the mail. But then, by reading your comment you sound more like one of those people who keeps friends only when things are completely equal - real friendship doesnt really work that way. Kinda sad.

  7. Sharon -- You're so awesome! It's so great that you use your time this way! I mean, Caroline is a compelling writer, so I see why you can't stay away, but this isn't healthy for you, and it's also a sign that you're not a very good person. Ouch. May all the happiness you've brought to others return to you. Or maybe it already has started to, and that's what brings you here to be nasty.

    Caroline, that window looks great!

  10. sharon--not too sure if this is your real name or not (i love my trackers), but it seems like you have the wrong caroline. and seriously...what kind of person would that make me if i was alwasy bragging about what i did for my friends. whatever i do for my friends i do because i care for them not because i want someone seeing what i did. i feel sorry for your friends

mj--i am also happy we have become friends. you are one of the coolest people i know (and luckiest).

lynilu--at first i thought this was the sharon i kind of know, but from my tracker i think it's just a comment from a very unhappy and miserable person on the east coast.

julie--thank you for your kind words. you are a sweetheart

jen/fern--loved your comment. i love how miserable people try to make others as unhappy as they are. i really feel sorry for this sharon person.

Hey! I have a birthday week so I think it's totally cool to have a birthday month! I suppose I could milk it for a month too but I get tired of all the damn celebrating after awhile! heehee...that's because I'm older than you are!

traci--part of the reason i do a whole month is b/c i am making up for all those b-day i didn't get to celebrate..you totally need a birthday month

    Trackers are very easily defeated.

  18. I'm just posing this very rhetorical question: how lame does a person have to be to need a plan to defeat a tracker? Wow. Talk about not having enough to do with one's time.

Celebrate away. There is too little celebrating in my opinion so "the more the better"!

  19. anonymous--sounds like you have too much time on your hands

casey--i couldn't agree with you more on the celebrating part.

  20. Sharon- I do alot more than name-calling in real life. See, I don't profess to be a nice person.

    Heh, speaking of rhetorical questions...

How lame does someone need to be to allow any possibly destructive script or cookie to be deposited on your computer by any website.

How lame does someone have to be to make fun of someone who is smart enough to not allow any random script to be run.

I have too little time to rebuild my computer every six months due to it having unprotected script sex with any website I hit.

  22. patti--oh my gosh...you make me laugh so much

anonymous--you're worse off then what i thought...you really need to get a life.
